Media relations

The media are undoubtedly some of the most impactful stakeholders of all. They have the power and ability to create something big from something small, or the other way around. LV helps companies to make the story they have to tell more interesting and relevant for the public at large, so that journalists can see reasons for writing about it. MEDIA TRAINING

The best media interviews come across as being spontaneous and improvised… but is that really the case? Winston Churchill once said, “Please don’t disturb, I’m practising my impromptus...”. In other words, preparing thoroughly for contacts with the media is essential.

Media training provides a valuable insight into the do’s and don’ts of contacts with the print and audiovisual media. The training involves spending a great deal of time learning about the practical aspects of interviews in front of the camera, complete with the necessary coaching and feedback. This prepares trainees properly and gives them confidence in the messages they are delivering. Working with clients, we analyse their past media communication (interviews, press releases, media conferences) and provide tailored advice for enhancing and optimising their messages.

Learning these techniques is also extremely valuable for other circumstances, such as important meetings, presentations and speeches.
